The Person Behind the Lens

My first blog post might have been an ideal time to provide a summary of myself, but I never like doing things the traditional way. I'm an incredibly passionate, free-spirited person who gets excited over the smaller details of life, like some beautiful flowers on my walk home.  I might care too deeply and love too much, but that's because I value human connection and experiences very highly. I love the opportunity to connect with others on an individual level, which might be a stereotypical Gemini thing to say. However, there's nothing quite like hanging out with someone one on one and learning the smaller details of their life. I really enjoy music, photography, nature, 1970's culture and poetry. I aspire to become a music photojournalist and live a life similar to William Miller in Almost Famous (which happens to be my favorite movie).
This photo was taken during Emeraldfest, which was the first time I've had an opportunity to photograph a band, so the whole thing was a pretty fantastic experience. (PC: Jessica Knehr)

College has helped me stop hating my body and become a body positive individual who loves my flaws. (PC: Jessica Knehr)
There's not much I love more than going to local shows and occasionally photographing them. (PC: Sarah Northrop)

Going on random nature adventures with friends is one of my favorite ways to spend an afternoon. (PC: Tanner Brown)
This might be one of my favorite photos of myself because it's incredibly easy to see how happy I am. (PC: Jayden Grey)

Boudoir photography is one of my favorite things (PC: Jessica Knehr)
